Our lives are full of boundaries that dictate the extent to which we allow people to enter our lives. Some of those boundaries entail the maintenance of our security system and its service in protecting our own lives as well as those for whom we hold close within our hearts. Such is the case that is with the boundaries we hold for the protection of our souls.
As I strive to serve God, with what little I now have of myself, but much that I have from Jesus, I witness adverse effects in the lives of others, as well as my own. Many of the recipients of my work express a sense of peace, joy, and blessing. However, if the work poses a threat to the "rulers of darkness of this world", I will receive a personal attack from hell.
Satan is alive. Satan is active in this world. Satan is the biggest enemy of a born-again believer. However, Satan can only hurt the believer to the extent that God allows him to do so. Other people are fighting against each other physically over issues of race, ethnicity, or religion. However, there are battles that are not raged against the flesh of people but instead against principalities.
