Quite frankly I cannot speak with certainty as to the origins and purpose of the Covid-19 Virus. I believe that God continues to have a hand in the matter to draw the world closer toward the return of Jesus the Messiah. I believe that there is an attribute of origin to the country of China. I know that the CV has spread to many countries, cities, towns, and even villages. I also know that the CV has left a negative impact upon the lives of many who could be rich or poor, healthy or ill, as well as atheists or spirit-filled believers of Jesus the Messiah. Physical Well-Being. At the level of well-being, there have been a lot of people, more than expected, who have experienced little to no symptoms of the CV. I still don’t know why so many people have fallen into this category. I also don’t know what purpose has there been for resilience against the CV. What is the purpose for their survival and continuance for their physical well-being? Why did God choose them? What is His plan for their lives? On the other hand, there are some people who have recovered from the CV and progressively done well in their recovery. Yet, there are some people who continue to experience secondary symptoms due to the damage the CV caused to their bodies; their complete recovery is undetermined.
Mental Well-Being. One of the most neglected areas of well-being has been mental health. Through times of quarantine and restrictions for accessing diverse social-oriented facilities, many people have remained silent or quiet about the negative effects the drastic social changes have had upon their lives. Yet, some people have openly violated safety standards to have their social needs met. Unfortunately, some of them have had to pay a high price by witnessing themselves, family members, or close friends progressively experience the symptoms of the CV. Such actions have led some people to become patients within hospitals or their homes, where they no longer had access to the social needs they so much craved, especially if they were put into a coma or died because of the CV. Faith-Based Perspective. From a Christian point of view, I can speak a few words of encouragement about the CV issue. I can state that God has a purpose for all matters regarding the CV. I can also state that God has the capacity to control both the negative and positive consequences that have arisen as a result of the CV. Furthermore, for those that lay within His Son, Jesus, becoming ill from the CV can be a challenge, but also an escort towards the “blessed hope”. If one gets sick and recovers, they can praise Jesus for the physical recovery and healing. Yet, if one gets sick and dies, they can rejoice with a spiritual eternal life in the presence of their Lord Jesus. For those people who have not experienced the physical symptoms of the CV, I encourage you to do your part to stay safe as well as hold strong to your trust in Jesus. Furthermore, serve others in Jesus' name as the Holy Spirit leads you to do so. If you do it on your own, you are subject to exhaustion and failure. If you do it through the strength of the Lord Jesus, you will be strong and accomplish your appointed goals. Effects of the Vaccines. We are now coming towards the middle of the Covid-19 era, per se. There have been many vaccines developed in a rush, with some being more versatile and prevalent than others. Some of the vaccines have proven themselves to be very effective with little to no side-effects. While at the same time, in some people, the vaccines have provoked a severe allergic reaction and even led to deaths. The positive side of the matter is that these issues are being addressed and improvements are being made as more information is gathered. As for the distribution of the vaccine, it seems that there has been a lot of poor planning. Many places have poor systems and leadership to carry out an effective plan by which to administer the vaccine to the people who are most vulnerable to the CV. It is still a work in progress and many of the people who don’t meet the criteria, may not receive the vaccine until a year or more. Although the vaccine is a help to prepare the body to fight the CV, it is not a cure. It may take years before it is conquered. Hence, everyone needs to continue to exercise safety standards to best protect themselves and their household; scientists are still learning about the workings of the CV. What About Me? As for me, I continue to do my best to practice safety standards when I am in the public spectrum. I also follow the CV reports from the global level down to my city. Furthermore, I research articles, both newspapers and journals; I like to learn beyond what the media shares with the public. Beyond that, I generally watch television shows, movies, or short videos online. I also do some outdoor activities such as some yard work or make coffee on a camping stove, as well as sit to enjoy the beauty of nature. I sometimes create small goals for myself. There are times when the goals can sometimes develop into projects because of the amount of planning that is entailed before beginning to address objectives toward completing the goal. I still continue to read books, reflect, and take notes of different things. However, my motivation for studying many things has diminished since CV impacted my life through restrictions or hazards of staying too long at a fast food place to eat, read, reflect, and study. Beyond the scope of this selection, I also tend to matters regarding family members within my household (I will leave it at that). Closure. In closing, there is so much I still don’t know about the Covid-19 virus; and perhaps will never know. However, I do place my trust in Jesus and do my best to obey the guidance of His spirit toward survival in a world where the CV is still on the loose. Mankind has limitations, but God rules all. I encourage you to not get overwhelmed by the effects the CV has upon the different areas of your life but trust Jesus with all of them. It’s not easy, but it is possible through Jesus. Let Us Pray. God, you who are great and grand. The Covid-19 virus is still on the loose. Although vaccines have been developed to help fight it, there are no certainties against the CV. Hence, I put my trust in your son, Jesus the Messiah. I trust that Jesus will supply all of my needs as well as those of my household. I trust Jesus will be with me with or without the CV vaccine. Please continue to encourage my faith in Jesus as I continue to press forward in His name. Thank you God and Jesus for all that you have done, are doing, and will continue to do. In Jesus' name, I pray, Amen. Comments are closed.
