Everyone in the world has their limitations. They have the ability to push themselves to extremes and even further through God's empowerment with the Holy Spirit. Yet, there are times when they may perceive themselves as being in a spiritual desert. A desert where perhaps God no longer hears their cry. A couple of hours past midnight, I sought God through praise and worship. Then the Holy Spirit caught and led me through my time in praise and worship. When we were done, I had a mental impression of the name "Simon". I looked-up the name, and learned that it is linked to the name "Simeon", meaning "He hears"! I was then filled with joy that no human could ever give me!
So many times, through my current present living conditions, I have desired some form of "sign" that He was hearing me cry out to Him as well as know that He was working on resolving my expressed concerns. Now, I have my answer ... my "sign". Although I have to wait patiently for further guidance, my soul rests in peace in knowing that God inclines His ear to me and hears my cry. ***Scripture References*** "Then she conceived again and bore a son, and said, "Because the LORD has heard that I [am] unloved, He has therefore given me this [son] also." And she called his name Simeon." (Genesis 29:33) -- NKJV " And behold, there was a man in Jerusalem whose name [was] Simeon, and this man [was] just and devout, waiting for the Consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him."
