Satan is alive. Satan is active in this world. Satan is the biggest enemy of a born-again believer. However, Satan can only hurt the believer to the extent that God allows him to do so. The degree by which they are hurt is determined by the extent the believer establishes and maintains an active relationship with God's Son, Jesus. He is their advocate, strength, healer, Savior, and Lord. Satan is alive and well; his biggest enemy on Earth is the born-again believer whom he cannot hurt directly. He cannot hurt their heart, because it is covered by the breastplate of righteousness; which can only be retained through an active relationship with Jesus. He cannot hurt their mind, for it is covered by the helmet of salvation; which is obtained through the blood of Jesus and maintained through an active renewal by the Holy Spirit. He cannot hurt their soul, for it is sealed by the Holy Spirit upon belief and confession of Jesus as their Savior and Lord. He cannot drain their strength, for it is not of their own; they are weak to their own will so that Jesus, their Lord, may work through them with His own strength!
Consequently, Satan will begin to attack the born-again believer by hurting their family members, close friends, and brethren in Jesus ... the things that are close to them as well. Though they will endure hardship through the battles that follow, they will not be defeated; for the Lord Jesus goes before them, the Spirit of God goes within them, and the Glory of the Lord God guards their backside. Additionally, the angels of God are active in interventions on the spiritual realm, as well as the brethren in Jesus, whom God calls to intercessory prayer for their fellow brethren. They do not fear what mankind may do to harm them, nor Satan himself, for that matter. The born-again believer of Jesus knows in the depth of their hearts the peace of God and no one can take that away from them ... their souls are Heaven-Bound ! Let Us Pray ! God, I want to thank you for sending Your Son, Jesus, to die for my sins and allowing salvation to be possible through Him in my life. Thank You for also sending the Comforter, Holy Spirit, to enter my heart, clean it up, and transform it, as well as my mind. I thank You as well, for the new and transformed person (soul) that has emerged through Jesus. Lastly, thank You for continually equipping me with both strength through Jesus and power through the Holy Spirit. Thank You for allowing me to have the victory in all things, even against Satan; through You, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Amen. Comments are closed.
