There is something special in God's Word. There is something special about how it draws you in. There is something special in God's Word and how it leads a person to Christ Jesus. The book of the Bible, God's Word, the Holy scriptures are all one and the same. There are different names, but all are the same thing and have the authorship of the Holy Spirit. It is the special anointing from the Holy Spirit that allows God's Word to have the power to draw in children, men, and women of all different walks; it does not matter where they have come from or where they intend to go, a person will be drawn in.
When a person has been drawn into God's Word, they have a choice to make: go in deeper and let it begin a transforming work in their heart or step away and reject it. It is my hope that a person would make the wise choice; it will lead to a transformed heart, then a renewed mind, a refreshed spirit, and essentially a soul that will begin to be made whole. This is my story. The reading of God's Word, every day, for several years, drew me into it. It began the process of transforming my heart from religiosity to spirituality. God's Word, through the work of the Holy Spirit, led me to the step of accepting Christ Jesus as my Lord and Savior. My life has not been easy nor as I expected. It has been a challenge to live a life that is in accordance to God's Word. Yet, through it all, Christ Jesus has been with me, right by side. There are times I know He is there with me, and I feel well and safe. There are times that I wonder where He is and search and called out for Him to be with me. Even through the storms, Christ Jesus has never left me alone. However, is it possible to no longer be drawn in by God's Word? I believe it is possible. If a person does not maintain a continual and healthy relationship with Christ Jesus, they will not be drawn in against their will or desire. In addition, a person should examine themselves to see what is hindering the drawing in of God's Word. It could be the self, sin, spiritual warfare, or something else; it needs to be found out and taken action upon it. What if a person chooses to step-away from God's Word and all things that pertain to Christ Jesus, what happens? In essence, Christ Jesus a gentlemen and He will continue to work with that person as long as they seek Him. Yet, if they choose to step-away and reject Him, then it becomes a different matter. It is my hope that people remain in Christ Jesus and maintain a continual and healthy relationship with Him. Let's Pray. God thank you for God's Word and how You continue to use it to draw me in, help me, and keep me going with an active relationship with Christ Jesus. Amen. Comments are closed.
