the church of the Bible

In an age of electricity, church congregations have integrated much technology into their gathering of members and people who share a similar belief as them.  In the process, they have also incorporated much of the business world into the manner in which they govern their church congregation.  In the process, many church congregants have lost a connection of the true church of the Bible.

I encourage people to seek a church congregation that:

• Holds Disciples of Jesus (not simply spectators of a religion known as Christianity)
  

• Encourages Disciples of Jesus to gather together to study God's Word, share their spiritual growth with one another, and both praise and worship God "in spirit and in truth" (not cater to their own spiritual self-gratification or ego-centrism)
  

• Develops Disciples of Jesus to strive, through God's help, to carry out God's Word in their daily life (not just when gathering together with other Disciples of Jesus)
  
  

• Holds Biblical elders who both teach and preach from both the Word of God and His love, as well as a calling from God (not people who follow and instill doctrines of men)

• Holds Biblical deacons who serve a church congregation from both their heart and spirit and His love, as well as a calling from God (not just out of the demands of a spiritual leader(s), coercion, and / or ultimatums)

• Holds Biblical leaders who humble themselves to serve God by doing work (not only by calling-out orders and fattening themselves).

Sadly enough, there are few church congregations that hold these attributes. However, now a days, most of these attributes can be found in a small Bible study group  : (

I pray that we may all find and actively participate in such a gathering of Disciples of Jesus before the rampant presence of the church of apostasy dominates society ... and the coming of our Lord Jesus arrives! Amen.
